Like most people in my village I’m prepared (do) something for the conservation of the environment. I have given up (work) for Crazy Prices, the local supermarket, at weekends, where I had a part-time job. Instead I’ve offered (help) the RSPCB (the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) at the local information centre. Last week we had a meeting where we wanted (explain) to people why they should stop (climb) the cliffs. I really dislike people (behave) like Rambo in a nature reserve.
I’m quite proud of (be) an activist for the RSPCB, an organization which helps (protect) birds. I’ve risked (live) on less money than before. Last month I decided (sell) my car and I really don’t miss (drive) at all. I also believe in (support) other local environmental groups. I have suggested (call) a meeting of these groups next month.
